Our approach to quality is
company wide. Every individual in the company has responsibility and ownership
for quality, not just management.
Our quality policy is:
"Strive for continuous improvement of quality through development
of design and management procedures to ensure the quality of our service and
functionality of designs.
Provide confidence to our clients that the appropriate level of quality is
provided and maintained." Fielder Engineers are in the process of developing our own quality assurance
system in accordance with ISO9001. It is our long term goal to achieve
accreditation with Quality Assurance Services, a subsidiary of Standards
Australia. To this end, we have enrolled in courses that will help us to achieve
this goal. We have currently attended 2 courses, "Implementing A Quality
Management System" and "Interpreting ISO9001 for the Service Sector".
It is company policy that all contractors work to quality standard ISO9003 as
a minimum requirement. Our contract documentation requires contractors to
provide their quality assurance policy, test plans and the like at or
immediately after tender. Fielders diligently review the policies and test plans
as one of the first stages in establishing the successful contractor.
